Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Nuflorist, LLC wants nuflorist.com to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as an add-on.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. As of September 7, 2026, nuflorist.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the content meets the standard, and the exceptions we know about are listed below.

What we have done

  • Every page has a working "Skip to the content" link, a main landmark, labelled navigation regions, and a single page heading.
  • Text and interactive controls meet the WCAG contrast minimums, links inside text are underlined, and keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Controls such as the pricing toggle and the cookie banner can be operated with a keyboard and announce their state to screen readers; the cookie banner can be dismissed with the Escape key.
  • Feature-comparison tables announce "Included" or "Not included" rather than unlabeled icons, and table headers are marked up as headers.
  • The homepage background video is decorative, hidden from assistive technology, can be paused, and does not play for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion. Smooth scrolling is also turned off for those visitors.
  • Images carry text alternatives, or are marked decorative when they add no information.

Known limitations

  • Parts of the site were built with a visual page builder whose markup we are progressively correcting; some decorative elements and heading levels may still be announced imperfectly by screen readers.
  • The homepage hero uses a background video with text over it; we darken the video so the text meets the contrast minimum, but the effect depends on your device's video playback.
  • Third-party pages we link to — our Shopify App Store listing, Calendly scheduling, our GitBook documentation, and YouTube — are outside our control.

How we test

We test with automated tools (axe-core) in Chromium, plus manual keyboard navigation and screen-reader checks, on every release and at least once a year. This statement was last reviewed on September 7, 2026.
